INT. LUNA’S COURTYARD- MORNING.

The guard drags Aisha into a very big courtyard where many activities are going on. There are many women and children walking up and down.

Some women were knitting, some making their hair, while some were cooking and during all these women activities with teenage female children helping, the younger children were playing. This courtyard is filled with laughter and joy like a different world on its own.

The guard drags Aisha across this yard into the house at the center of the yard. The guard looks around when he enters into the house and sees a cluster of women at the center of one of the rooms in the house.

The women all look back as the guard moves towards them with Aisha and they make way for him as he makes his way to the center of the cluster and pushes Aisha hard to the ground. Aisha looks up to see a very beautiful woman

INT. AISHA’S OFFICE-MORNING

AISHA

That was when I met the Luna

ROSE

Luna?

AISHA

The queen but they call her Luna

INT. QUEEN’S COURT- MORNING.

Luna is a fair beautiful woman in her early fifties. She sits on a chair as another woman draws henna on her hand. She looks as Aisha and then looks up at the guard

LUNA

Is she the new bride?

GUARD

Yes, Khan says that Nikah will hold at dusk

LUNA

She turns a woman at her left

LUNA

Reza, take her to Halima

REZA

Two ladies stands up and drags Aisha up. Aisha struggles with them

AISHA

Let me go, I said let me go

Reza lead the way out of the court with the ladies dragging Aisha behind her

INT. HALIMA’S COURTYARD-AFTERNOON.

Aisha sits with her hand tied to a chair in a court that looks like the Luna’s court. A woman stands at her back and is plaiting her hair for her. A young fair beautiful woman with a large black mole on her nose comes in the room with five ladies behind her. This woman is beautifully dressed with a veil over her head like the other ladies.

HALIMA

Why is her hands tied?

One of the woman behind her responds

She was struggling with us, this was the only way we could do our job

Halima moves closer to Aisha and holds her face with her manicured hands

HALIMA

AISHA

Halima looks surprise as she looks at Mina

Aisha talks in pain and with anger

Halima holds her jaw again with her long nails pinching Aisha’s skin. Aisha yells slowly in pain
