EXT. AISHA’S GAZEBO- MORNING
Aisha sits opposite the Khan as she watch him clean his hands after eating his breakfast. Emily and Kuami stands close to them with other servants too
KHAN

AISHA

KHAN
I am serious, this is a huge improvement compared to your first meal

TOBA comes into the gazebo with a seven month old Alhaji. The Khan stands up with a huge smile on his face when he sees his son
KHAN

Toba hands over Alhaji to the Khan, Alhaji opens his toothless gum when he sees his father
KHAN
That is my boy (faces Aisha) what are you feeding him that is making him grow so fast
Aisha smiles, then the Khan walks out of the Gazebo with Alhaji in his arms. Aisha and the servants walks behind him. The Khan stops and looks around
KHAN
I want you to look at this place Alhaji (looks at his son) it is all yours. You will be the head of this great city one day
Aisha looks unpleased with what the Khan just said but smiles back to him the moment he turns to her
KHAN
I heard your new court will soon be ready
AISHA
Yes my Khan
KHAN
Good because this court does not befit the mother of my son
Aisha smiles to him. The Khan hands over Alhaji to her
KHAN
Bring him to my court this evening, I want him to be in the meeting with Elders of council
AISHA
Isn’t he too young for that?
KHAN

Alhaji touches Aisha‘s arm as a show of affection but panic settles in on Aisha as she withdraws her hand immediately almost tripping but Kuami reacts fast and holds her steady with Alhaji in her arms. Aisha starts to breath heavily, shaking vigorously. Aisha looks to see the Khan looking at her weirdly
KHAN
Are you okay?
AISHA
M…m….My K…Kkan….Khan….Khan
Emily sees Aisha’s panic situation and faces the Khan
EMILY
The First Lady took a drug for the fever, panicking is a side effect of the drug
KHAN
Are you sure about that? She is shaking too
EMILY
A side effect too
KHAN
Okay but I hope my son won’t come down with the same fever
Aisha composes herself
AISHA
Nothing of such is going to happen, my Khan
KHAN
Then take good care of yourself
The Khan leaves with his own servants. Aisha sees Emily looking at her with I-told-you-so look. Emily wants to talk but Aisha beats her to it
AISHA
Not a word
Aisha walks out of the Gazebo with Alhaji in her arms. Emily screams at the top of her voice
EMILY
You are not readyyyy
