I applied make up on my face as Kylian comes out of the bathroom in a towel with water drizzling down his body. I got lost looking at him as he cleaned his body

“If you keep looking at me like that, I will be tempted to take you right here and now”
“I don’t mind that”

He chuckled

“Oh really” I laughed as I picked a casual dress from the wardrobe
“Where are you going?” he asked as he picked up his brief
“I am going to see some mini-marts”
“If you need anything, I can get someone to get it for you”
“Oh! So, you just want me indoor all day fucking you” I teased him
“No, not that I mind that but I am not making thousands of euros a week for you to stress yourself but I understand if you want to take a stroll”
“No, I am not taking stroll, I am visiting some minimart” I stated and an uncomfortable silence followed. I turned to find him staring at me weirdly
Why are you going to the minimart, Bewaji. Your sentence was incomplete, must I teach you everything
“My fishes are almost at maturation and I don’t have a market yet. I looked around restaurants that needs fishes but they already have their vendors. So, Mr. K. suggested I process my fishes into stock fish and give to minimarts to sell for me. That way, I don’t make a loss and I have more time looking for a market. So, I want to meet the owners of the minimarts” I explained
“You didn’t do your market survey before you started” he asked me in a low voice
“I just thought I could always supply Madam Black but she has her own vendor and she takes loyalty pretty seriously”
“Who is Madam Black?”
“You don’t know her”
“So, you didn’t do your market survey?” he let out in way that felt like he was disappointed in me
“I am fixing it now”
“What if they say no?”
“Why will they say no, I mean it takes nothing from them. All they just have to do to showcase my waves on their shelves and they get 20% of my profit”
“20%!” He exclaimed.
Now, he is making me feel like a failure
“That is a little incentive to get them to help me, people do it all the time….. buy 2, get one for free”
“And what if with all of that, they still say no”
“Then I guess, I am going to be eating a lot of fish at home”
He let out a heavy sigh and turned away from me
“Business is not done the way you are doing it” Kylian muttered as he put on his clothes
“I know, I am trying to fix it”
“I am coming with you”
“What? No!
He turned and looked at me with a smirk
“Can you stop me?”
“I don’t need your help, Kylian”
“Who said anything about helping you, I am taking a stroll”
Taking a stroll, that is even much worse than helping me
“You can’t do that, people will see you”
“Let them” he said with a shrug
“With me, Kylian, they will see you with me.”
“And here I thought, you were concerned about me”
“Of course, I am but if you are not worried about your wellbeing, you will be concerned about mine right?”
“Everything will be…” he was cut off by the sound of my phone ringing. I checked the caller ID and saw Marcus. The memory of the kiss I shared with him flashed before my eyes and I cut the call. I look at Kylian with guilt and turned away from him to put on my shoes. I could feel his eyes on him and I could not look at him
“Was that Marcus?” he asked in a low voice
I cut my eyes and bit into my lips with guilt. I cheated on him with Marcus
You either give him an affirmative answer or deny it but you can’t stay silence. Your silence will make him read into things

Then, I heard him moving away
“I kissed Marcus” I blurted out
Waoh! Waoh! I asked you to answer his question and not split your guts to him. What are you going to do if he makes a big issue out of it?
I turned to him as he folded his arms
“I kissed Marcus, I am sorry about that but it was just a kiss, there is nothing to it”
“Okay” He replied with indifference and turned to leave
Wow! You just told him, you kissed another man and his response to that is okay
“I just told you I kissed another man and your response is okay” I retorted in confusion
“What do you want me to say? Shout at you, question why you did it, maybe throw you out” he questioned
“Yes”
Did you just say he should throw you out?
“Maybe not throw me but be mad at me, for christ sake, your wife kissed another man, you should be mad at that”
He smirked
“You kissed another man, I let you off the hook and yet, you are complaining. Is kissing another man something to be proud of”
Wait a minute, when you told him you kissed Marcus, he didn’t look surprised. When you tell a man something like, there should be a surprise look on his face, maybe even confusion but he didn’t have that… it was like that he knew
“Did you know?”
The man already let you off the hook, maybe you shouldn't push it
“Did you know that I kissed Marcus before I told you” I challenged him “Were you aware”
The defensive look on his face did not change
Shit! He is not even denying he had you followed
“Holy motherfucker, you had me followed”
“You left France without anybody” he yelled as he moved closer to me “Then you went to Bali with Marcus without telling anybody, my own fucking teammate. If anything had happened to you, I would have be held responsible. So, yes, I had you followed. How could you leave for Bali without telling anyone?”
“I was divorcing you” I shouted “I was going to divorce you, maybe I thought I was divorcing you, I don’t know” I said in a low voice
Just tell him you are sorry
“I am not making an issue out of this because I believe I drove you to Marcus. My action did, so let call it even if you are not going to kiss him again”
“I won’t”
“Cool” he walks away into the bedroom
I completely forgot about the divorce, are we even still getting a divorce
Do you know what else happened today? You had your first fight with Kylian, congratulation
You say that like it is an achievement
Of course, it is. I know how much you yearned for that last year. So congratulation
“And I am coming with you” Kylian said in a loud voice from the bedroom
