RERE stands at the balcony of her apartment smoking looking into at heavily lighted streets of Abuja as cars moves. ROTI comes to join her
Roti: (sees her smoking) you still smoke?
Rere: I stopped for a little period but I started again two weeks ago
Roti: I was serious when I said you changed Rere (she faces him) you looked sadder than when I met you
Rere: (smiling sadly) was I?
Roti: (walks towards her and stands close to her watching the streets ago) what happened Rere, the plan was for you to call me after a year
Rere: a lot happened, (faces him smiling) but I am back for good
Roti: he got to you, didn’t he? You fell in love with Alex Ehosa
Rere: what makes you think I stayed because of love?
Roti: that is the only reason why the Rere I knew two years ago will decide to stay with a man she was thinking of spending like two months with. You fell hard for him (Rere looks nostalgic, Roti sees this and he smiles) I see that I am right. I hope this does not get in the way of our plan
Rere: it won’t
Roti: how can I be sure? It interfered once
Rere: (looking serious) trust me, this time it won’t
Roti: (smiling) now that is the Rere I know
Rere: I was serious about you looking different too

Roti: (smiling) oh really
Rere: yes, can’t you see the way you stood up to me (mimicking Roti) I can’t let you do that. I can’t let you destroy what I have built for two years (Roti laughs) that is not something the Roti I knew two years ago will do
Roti: I needed to be the players of both men and women and for that to happen I had to be this man you are seeing today
Rere: I am curious about something though
Roti: what?
Rere: how did you do it (Roti smiles) I mean how were you able to build that empire
Roti: you don’t want to hear my boring story
Rere: I don’t care if it is. I must say I didn’t expect what I saw today
Roti: are you that curious?
Rere: yes I am. How did you pull it off?
Roti: okay (he sigh) It was not easy at all, I almost wanted to give up and run back to Lagos but (his phone rings) excuse me (he moves few steps away from Rere and comes back after a minute smiling) seems today is your lucky day
Rere: (stands up upright) the president is at the suya spot? (Roti nods) I need to go (she goes back inside)
