INT. ONE HOTEL IN JOHANNESBURG- CONTINOUS

Imade enters her bedroom in a robe with her hair wrapped up in towel. As she wraps her hair, she hears the door of her room opening. In a confused state, she walks towards the door and the intruder turns out to be LEVI and the manager of the hotel

She frowns at them

Levi breathes in relief

LEVI

Ms. King

IMADE

(Unpleased) What the hell are you doing in my room?

HOTEL MANAGER

I am so sorry, this young lady came to me and said she couldn’t get across to you

The manager leaves hurriedly

LEVI

Mr. King said he could not get across to you, so I came here and knocked severally but you were not responding

IMADE

I was in the bathroom

LEVI

I didn’t know that, I am so sorry. The boss asked me to get the manager when you didn’t respond

IMADE

(Yells) Get out

LEVI

Levi’s phone rings at that moment and she picks the call

LEVI

Hello, sir (Pause) Yes sir, I have seen her

Imade stretches her hand to Levi

Levi hands her the phone and steps back

Hey, Wemimo

Surprised to see her PA still standing, she glares at her. Without Imade speaking, Levi understands the message been passed across and she makes her way out

(With a frightened voice) Are you okay, Imade? What happened?

IMADE

(Calmly) I am fine, Wemimo

WEMIMO

No, you are not. I heard you crying. What happened?

She closes her eyes and sighs deeply

A friend of mine died

WEMIMO

IMADE

Not Ann, a friend from fashion school

(Becoming frustrated) Not Olivia… you don’t know her

Imade hangs up the phone, then more tears floods down her eyes as the weight of her betrayal weighs on her. Then she quickly cleans her eyes off and turns stoic

The young PA hurriedly comes in and collects her phone from Imade before making her way out of the room, Imade goes to bed and wraps her herself up with blanket like a burrito
