On the road from Lagos 20: The Marcopolians

INT. INSIDE THE MARCO POLO- MORNING

Suddenly the Marco Polo goes down like it hits something and because of this, Remilekun falls to the ground and slides to the front next to Femi and hits her head on the platform in front. Rhema quickly holds the pole next to her but she falls down, the other passengers just swings to the front. The driver turns to the passengers

DRIVER

Is everybody okay?

CECE

What just happened?

OBA-ABASS

I have no idea

The driver comes out of the Marco Polo to look around. When he gets to a spot he puts his hand on his head and curse in frustration. Oba-Abass sees the driver

OBA-ABASS

I think something has happened, we should check it out

He walks to the front and see Femi helping Remilekun up. He quickly runs to her side

OBA-ABASS

Remi, are you okay?

Femi checks her head

FEMI

It is just a little cut, you will be okay

REMILEKUN

Thank you

Femi sees the necklace on her neck, he touches and Remilekun quickly removes it from his hand

FEMI

I am sorry, it is just that have seen that necklace somewhere

REMILEKUN

But this is my necklace

She walks to the door and tries to open it but the door won’t open. She tried it again, the door won’t bulge. Jamin walks toward the door

JAMIN

Let me try

He tries his lucky but the door didn’t open

OBA-ABASS

The door won’t open unless the engine kicks start

FEMI

I think we must have hit something

CECE

Someone should crawl out and check out what is happening

JAMIN

I will go

He climbs out though the window, the others watch him go around the Marco Polo to meet the driver. He had a small talk with driver and walks back to the window he climbed out through

FEMI

What happened?

JAMIN

The bus is stuck in the mud, we might have to push it

CECE

So we have to come down

JAMIN

Yes

OBA-ABASS
