EPISODE 32

Embarrassed 

INT. IMADE’S BEDROOM- NIGHT

Imade cleans the tears flowing from her eyes off with a small handkerchief as she lies on the bed in her night gown. Then she hears the door open and she quickly flips the blanket over her head. 

She hears the footstep stop and about a minute later, she hears footsteps move away from the bed and the door to their bathroom closing. About five seconds later, she hears the shower running

Imade sits up and puts her head in her hand sighing heavily. Then lies back on the bed. When the shower stops running, she quickly close her eyes.

Wemimo’s footstep sounds heavily as he enters their closet and come back into the room few minutes later. She feels the bed dips as Wemimo settles into the blanket. She tightly closes her eyes

WEMIMO

(In a calm voice) Do you want to talk about it?

Imade closes her eyes tightly again

WEMIMO

I know you are not asleep 

Getting no response from her, he gives up and turns his back to her. Imade opens her eyes, and let out a deep sigh before moving closer to her husband and press her body to him

IMADE

(Breaks down into tears) I am sorry

He turns to her and holds her in his arms

WEMIMO

It is fine

IMADE

I embarrassed you again, didn’t I?

WEMIMO

I should have told you they were coming, I am sorry

He pecks her on her forehead and Imade settles into her husband’s arm

Aggravated assault is not an accident. He repeatedly punched his victim till the man died,that is not an accident, Wemimo

WEMIMO

To be fair, the man did slept with his wife

IMADE

So, because the man slept with his wife, it is okay to be murdered
