CONTINUATION FROM LAST EPISODE
EXT. AISHA’S HOUSE-EVENING
OMAR
Cila, this is Omar speaking….
Rose opens her mouth in shock as she watch Omar walk away
ROSE
That was Omar?
AISHA
Yes
Rose chuckles
ROSE
I thought he died but….. Wait a minute, isn’t he married to Alice, how is he your husband?
AISHA
Omar was arrested after we left after Muyanku and because he helped us, he got 10 years
ROSE
that was why your parent were acting shady
AISHA
Six month after we left Muyanku, Alice left her one week old baby in front of my parent’s gate
ROSE
Oh my God, Kaisha, that was why your parents took her in. how could she leave her baby?
AISHA
Don’t you dare judge her, what we went through was a big blow. Only a few of us got through it okay, some of us are okay with living with Muyanku while some of us want to do away with it. So don’t judge her
ROSE
But how is Omar working for you? How is he your husband?
AISHA
He got out of jail in six year for good behavior, I send him back to school and he became an accountant. One thing lead to another and he is my husband and the best father I can ever want for my kids
ROSE
What about Alice? Has she been back for her daughter?
AISHA
The last time I saw her was at Muyanku. I searched for her but I didn’t find her
VOICE
First lady
A tiny voice calls out Aisha, Aisha smiles when she see an older looking Toba. She runs towards Aisha carrying a bag.
Rose smiles like she recognize Toba
ROSE
Ms. Toba of Glassy cosmetics right?
TOBA
Yes, who is asking?
ROSE
Rose Johnson, I am a huge fan of you
Toba shakes her hands
TOBA
Thank you (faces Aisha) I hope I am not too late my lady
AISHA
You are just in time
Rose eyes widen in surprise
ROSE
Oh my God, this is your Toba
AISHA
Yes
TOBA
You are telling our story already?
Aisha nods and Toba hugs her in return
TOBA
You have done well, my lady
ROSE
Let me get this straight, Toba and Kuami of Glassy Cosmetics, one of the leading cosmetics company in Africa is your Toba and Kuami?
Aisha answers shyly
AISHA
Yes
ROSE
Wow! Wow!
TOBA
I saw Omar on my way in, is that man going to make your party?
AISHA
I told you to stop calling him that
TOBA
Sorry, old habits
AISHA
That is what you have been saying for over five years
Oscar comes into view
OSCAR
And who do we have here, beautiful Toba
TOBA
And here we have your son calling me Toba
OSCAR
I heard that idiot broke up with you
TOBA
Of course you will hear that
OSCAR

TOBA
I was there when you were born, I have seen everything that makes you a man
OSCAR
You keep saying that like it is suppose to send me running, age is just a number to me… and where is Kuami?
AISHA
There was little hitch with the launch of the new product, she had to run to South Africa to fix it
OSCAR
She told me about that, I didn’t know it was that serious to require her attention
TOBA
Don’t worry about it, she is going to fix it
Suddenly they hear a voice shout goal in a very loud voice
OSCAR
What the hell is wrong with Malik?
Aisha sighs and walks back inside to the living room where she sees a young boy of about 11 years jubilating over a game of PES
AISHA
Malik turn that down
Malik jumps up to cover something who lies against the wall when he sees his mother
AISHA
What are you trying to cover?
MALIK
Nothing First Lady
AISHA
Abdulmalik, open whatever you are covering before I bounce on you
The boy reluctantly remove the cloth to reveal a painting of Aisha. Rose who comes in with Oscar and Toba opens her mouth in amazement. Aisha even looks impressed
ROSE
Wow that is beautiful
AISHA
Where did you get the money to buy the painting materials?
VOICE
What the hell?
The group all look back to see Alhaji come in
ALHAJI
You had one job Malik, keep it away from her
MALIK
She said she was going to bounce on me if I didn’t show her, I had no choice
ALHAJI
First lady, that was supposed to be a surprise. Patience is not exactly your strong suit, is it?
AISHA
You did this
ALHAJI
I bought the materials and asked him to paint it
Aisha looks so impressed
AISHA
I love it
She hugs him tightly
AISHA
Thank you
ALHAJI
You are welcome
Malik is bewildered
MALIK
But I painted it
Aisha drags him to her body and embraces him too.
ALHAJI
I need to go prepare (Aisha leaves him and Malik) Malik let go…. You too Oscar, go and prepare
He leaves with Malik. Aisha sees Oscar looking upset
OSCAR
You didn’t tell me thank you
AISHA
I must have
OSCAR
No you didn’t… let go Toba
AISHA
Oscar wait
He ignores his mother and leaves with Toba
ROSE
You are doing it again without realizing it
AISHA
Doing what?
ROSE
What you did you with Omar and Emily? You are making your sons fight for your love or rather making Oscar fight Alhaji for your love

ROSE
I am impressed, your people are doing well but I am missing someone, have seen Omar…Toba…Nimah, I heard about Alice and Kuami. Your circle was six, there is one more person… Emily, yes Emily. How is she? Is she around? When can I see her?
