ATINUKE, the maid walks hurriedly behind her

ANN
Okay, hmmm (Stops walking and turns to the maid) bring that and go set the table
Yetunde hands the bag back to her and moves in another direction. Ann enters into her living room where she finds her kids on top of Bankole laughing at the top of their voice
Ann huffs with a smile on her face
ANN
I should you two to stop doing this
The siblings looks at her and jump off of Bankole in excitement and races to Ann. Ann braces herself for their impact and when they were finally in her arms, she hugs tightly. She pecks their head and smiles to them

ANN
Homework?
LOVETH

ANN
You are suppose to do it before dinner
LOVETH
Uncle Bankole was around, I wanted to play with him
ANN
You are not going to become a lawyer if you let yourself get distracted by little things
LOVETH
But…
BANKOLE
Your mother is right, go do your homework, I will still be here when you are done
The little girl nods in disappointment and goes inside
BANKOLE
I am sorry, I should have asked
ANN
It is not your fault, Yetunde should have ensured that her homework was done
She turns to the little boy who still had his little hand round her lower body
ANN
Tell Yetunde to help you wash your hands for dinner
JOSHUA
Yes
The boy runs out of the living room
ANN
I will be back
BANKOLE
I thought our appointment was 6pm (Looks at his wristwatch) it is 6.15
ANN
I am sorry for my lateness, I need to freshen up, I will back back.
She leaves the living room

ANN
You are off that case
BANKOLE
Damn it, Ann, answer the fucking question, is Brother Wemimo into money laundering? Yes or no, it is not that hard
ANN
If you are that interested in knowing, why don’t you ask him yourself? Let me guess, you can’t
BANKOLE
Oh! I can, I am just saving him the embarrassment of calling him a criminal
