ALINGTON’S HOTEL- MORNING
At the bar section of the hotel, Aperry sits with Ann
and Wemimo with his head on the table

Aperry, it is okay
Aperry raises his head up and speaks with abject
sadness
APERRY
It is not okay, Wemimo. I could have done something, I
could have helped when she needed my help instead I chased her away
Wemimo looks at the grieving man in concern as he
wallows in agony
WEMIMO
No judging but I am kind of curious about how your
sister became a prostitute right before your own eyes

(Glares at Ann) Ann, please don’t do this now
APERRY
Everything started because of her, I quit school for
her, I had to take care of her. Through thuggery, I sent her to primary school,
secondary school up until she entered the university. Suddenly after that, I
could no longer provide for her, whatever I was giving her was no longer
enough. She wanted to wear expensive clothes and shoes, live in a mansion and

He slaps his head hardly mutiple time. Wemimo hold his hand to stop him from injuring himself

Aperry, calm down. What happened to your sister is not on you
APERRY
Sure it is, I didn’t even believe her, Wemimo. She
told me she was raped and I didn't believe her
WEMIMO
She never gave you the choice to, she destroyed the
trust you had in her. Her death is not on you, she laid her bed
APERRY

There are better ways of killing that man without
putting a bullet in his head. We can get your sister the justice she deserves
the legal way
ANN
Legal way? There is no evidence
WEMIMO

hearing this, Aperry gives Wemimo more attention
APERRY

No way in hell is your sister his first victim, there
has to be others
ANN
Even if there are, how can we find them and what is
even the assurance that they will be willing to come forward?
WEMIMO
We don’t need them, we just need to get him to rape
someone else again or at least try to
