People file out of the conference room after the meeting. Tolani pack her stuff to leave.

WEMIMO

Tolani walks back to her brother

TOLANI

What is it?

Wemimo wait for the rest of his employee to leave the conference room before he turns his gaze to his sister

WEMIMO

I heard about the governor’s offer

TOLANI

(Groans) how on earth are you getting this kind of information, Aperry possibly can’t know about this

WEMIMO

Father

TOLANI

He knows?

WEMIMO

The governor told him, he probably asked him to talk to you and Father wanted me to let you go

TOLANI

He fired me from his company, now he wants you to fire me too

WEMIMO

I am sure that is not his intention, he just wants what is best for you

TOLANI

So, are you going to fire me?

WEMIMO

Of course not, but I must ask, why are you dragging your feet on this, it is a good opportunity

TOLANI

It is the same reason why I left my husband

WEMIMO

You left your husband because you were in his shadow and you were drowning in his world. This is different, you get to be the head and not in the shadow, don’t you want the experience?

TOLANI

Say I want it, I am still a married woman, I need to talk with my husband before accepting the job

WEMIMO

The same husband that you have trying to talk to for over a year but won’t speak to you

TOLANI

That is because he is not in the country, he will be returning soon

WEMIMO

TOLANI

Wemimo packs his stuffs together

He walks out of the conference room leaving Tolani behind
