EXT. KINGS- NIGHT
Music blast in the air as the celebration of Imade vow
renewal party continues. Wemimo walk up to his sister’s car with Imade at his
rear and looks into the car. Tolani rest her head over the steering wheel. He
knocks and when his sister looks up, he sees her tear stained face
WEMIMO
Fuck!

(Puzzled) What is wrong with her?
He
opens the door and help his sister out
WEMIMO
He wants a divorce, doesn’t he?
TOLANI
I already signed it
IMADE
Oh my God! I am so sorry
WEMIMO

hugs his sister
TOLANI
I knew the marriage was died, I just hoped I could fix

Tolani cries softly as he pulls himself from his
sister and made her look into his eyes

Aunty Bebii calls out to him at the top of her voice
from the balcony at the last floor

is the foundation of everything we have built, without you, KINGS won’t exist
(Imade raised her glass to him) to my best friend Ann, who has been with us
through thick and thin, because of you, we are known as KINGS (Ann raised her
glass to him too) to my sister who gave KINGS, her first job, that first job
started everything like a chain reaction (Tolani raised her glass to him) to
BINTU, my very good friend who selected our very first fabric materials, you
are the reason why KINGS is known for good quality products (Bintu raised her
glass to him) to Shehu, the first tailor of KINGS and the best tailor in world,
your skills made people keep coming back for more (Shehu raised his glass to
him) to Aperry, you are the reason why our expansion into this community has been
possible (Aperry raised his glass to him)and finally to Maami in absential who
is represented by Bankole, she gave us a home to call KINGS
