EXT. ON A TREE- EVENING

Cece shouts for help on the tree, Oba-Abass looks frustrated as he watch her shouting

CECE

Somebody help, please help us, we are trapped here

OBA-ABASS

Two things are going to happen if you keep shouting like that. One, you cracked your voice and two, you bring the very people we are running from here

CECE

Three, one of our people hears us and comes to our rescue

OBA-ABASS

You are unusually cranky this evening

CECE

You don’t know me enough to say that

OBA-ABASS

Is it because of Selma Johnson?

Cece looks at him, then she ignores him

OBA-ABASS

What happened between you and Selma Johnson?

Cece looks up at him again

OBA-ABASS

From the way you talked about her, you two must be friends, so what happened?

CECE

Why are you so interested in talking about Selma?

OBA-ABASS

I just felt talking about your bad blood with Selma will help you

Cece looks away and she space out

FLASHBACK-CECE- FOUR YEARS AGO

INT. INSIDE A COURT ROOM- AFTERNOON

Cece parks her documents on the table, then she looks behind herself and sees Selma Johnson shaking hands with some people in the court room. Cece throws the documents in her hand on the table angrily

Selma sees Cece sits down and puts her head in hands. Then she walks toward Cece

SELMA JOHNSON

Cece looks up at Selma

Are you here to gloat?

SELMA JOHNSON

I am here to say hi to a friend

CECE

(Scoff) a friend? I thought friendship goes both ways, you are more of an enemy to me

SELMA JOHNSON

No matter what happens, you will always be my friend

CECE

If I am your friend, then why are you always poking your head in my cases?

SELMA JOHNSON

It is not my fault that clients wants me to defend their cases and if we are talking of someone poking her head in cases, I think that is more of you

She drops the piece of paper she is holding before Cece on the table

So what? are you selling me off to your clients now?

SELMA JOHNSON

Cece stands in anger

Selma looks unshaken While Cece looks surprise herself
