Few minutes after Bode Johnson leaves, Jamin pokes his head through the curtain
JAMIN

Remilekun smiles brightly when she sees him

Unfortunately I am going to be stuck on a wheel chair for about two months
JAMIN

Remilekun looks at Rhema and suddenly her eyes catches her father with his mistress, ANITA. Remilekun looks shocked

Remilekun stands up looking so angry and she walks straight to her father

BODE JOHNSON

REMILEKUN

BODE JOHNSON

I should watch my mouth? My mom is dead because of her, how dare she show her face here?
ANITA
I know you are angry but I just want to check if you and your dad are okay
Remilekun shouts in a loud voice

Why? Why should you come and check up on him? Are you his wife or now that you have succeeded in killing my mom, are you here to take her place? Is that it?
At this moment people starts to gather around, Madam Johnson runs to Remilekun
MADAM JOHNSON
What are you doing Remilekun? You creating a scene

You should ask your son what he is doing, he cheated on my mom throughout their marriage and after they both succeeded in killing her, she is here to take her place, isn’t that so Dad?
BODE JOHNSON
Shut up Remilekun
REMILEKUN
No, tell your slut to get out of this place or I will drag her out
In a rage, Bode grabs Remilekun’s arms
BODE JOHNSON
Where have I gone wrong with you Remilekun? What did I do wrong that you turned out this spoilt?

BODE JOHNSON
That is the only reason why I am tolerating your rude attitude but you are beginning to step on my toes

He releases Remilekun’s arms, then he signals to Anita to leave with him

Bode keeps walking without giving her a response with Anita behind him

Rhema watches Remilekun crumbles in tears

Rhema watches Remilekun drive herself on a wheelchair to her bedside with smile on her face

REMILEKUN
Is there no one here with you?
RHEMA
My mom is on her way there
REMILEKUN
Okay then…. I want to say thank you

REMILEKUN
For going back for my necklace, you didn’t have to and also thank you for not dying
Rhema chuckles then she proceeded to pick the necklace on the table next to her bed

I believe this is yours
Remilekun collects the necklace with a bright smile on her face

It is a beauty, you should keep it well
Remilekun chuckles sadly
REMILEKUN
Yes it is but I don’t deserve this, you do
She stretches the necklace back to Rhema
RHEMA
Why are you giving it to me?
REMILEKUN
You fought for it while I hesitated like a coward
RHEMA
Anyone would
REMILEKUN
But you didn’t, that is why you deserve it
RHEMA
This was the last thing your mom gave you before she died, is it okay for you to give it away
REMILEKUN
I don’t need a necklace to feel close to my mom, I have her in my heart already
RHEMA

She forces the necklace into Rhema’s hand and she starts to leaves. Suddenly she stops and turns to Rhema

Rhema laughs

REMILEKUN

Your mom saved my family. She got my late dad’s properties back from his greedy family. By doing that, she stopped my mother’s tears and also inspired me to be a good person. You are very lucky to be the child of that amazing woman
