INT. THE CLINIC- MORNING
Remilekun wheels herself out of the room, On her way, she meets her father
BODE JOHNSON
Where have you been Remilekun?
REMILEKUN
I needed to say goodbye
BODE JOHNSON
We need to go
REMILEKUN

Bode wheels her through the clinic and then she sees Cece waiting for her at the counter. Cece smiles when she sees her

Hello kiddo
REMILEKUN
I am not a kid
CECE
That is left for me to decide
Remilekun rolls her eyes in annoyance
CECE
When you get to Zaria, call me
REMILEKUN
Why should I? You are not my mom
CECE
Yes I know and I will never be her but when you get to Zaria, call me
Remilekun grumbles

Why didn’t you answer me?

Good
Cece hugs her tightly

Cece untangles herself from Remilekun

Bode laughs

Bode wheels Remilekun out…. On her way to the car, she imagines her mom. She smiles at her mom’s image

The image disappears, Remilekun smiles and she looks up
TWO YEARS AGO- The First Meeting
EXT. CHURCH COMPOUND- AFTERNOON
Vehicles of different types are parked in the church with so many people in black clothes walking from one place to another.
NIMAH and Mama Ngozi walks into the church compound both carrying a heavy bucket. Nimah sees JAMIN standing under the tree. Nimah calls out to her brother in a very loud voice
NIMAH
Jamin
Jamin looks surprised to see his sister
MAMA NGOZI
Why is Jamin here?
NIMAH
I don’t know
She gives her bucket to Mama Ngozi
NIMAH
I will join you
Nimah walks to Jamin passing beside FEMI who is talking to a NUN
NUN
I know how hard it is but you should try and forgive her
FEMI
The only way I can forgive her is if I find a solution to my problem
OBA-ABASS walks past CECE who is talking to some men to stand next Bode Johnson. He pats Bode on his and hugs him.
RHEMA walk to stand under the tree next to Jamin and his sister.
Cece, Oba-Abass, Rhema, Jamin, Nimah and Femi all stand still as the ambulance carrying the casket passes in front of them slowly as REMILEKUN walk behind it with her tears stricken face
