(At the wedding Reception, Alex and Rere are dancing. Rere spots Roti at the back and he signals to her to come)
Rere: (whispering to Alex) I need to go
Alex: where?
Rere: Roti is around
Alex: was he not around before?
Rere: no he was working, he is here to give feedback
Alex: please don’t tell me you are working on our wedding day
Rere: it is urgent and I am going to be quick
Alex: alright (he removes his hand from her waist) go do your thing
Rere: thank you (she pecks him on the lips and walks to Roti at the corner) so what did you find out (he hands her the document he is holding. Rere opens to read and looks very shock. She looks up at Roti) these are prominent members of the party, without them, we have no election
Roti: I am going to try to persuade the members
Rere: persuasion is not going to work if Bashorun is breathing down their neck. I think it is time for me to meet Bashorun
Roti: I am sure by now he knows about you, and he will definitely hate you. What are you going to say to him to make him change his mind?
Rere; I am not changing his mind, I am going to stall with everything I have to give you and Ariyo the time you need to stop these people from leaving
Roti: alright (he turns to leave when she pulls him back with his hand) what is it?
Rere: (smiling shyly) do you want to dance with me?
Roti: (surprise) dance with you?
Rere: I know it is strange for me to ask you this but the people that are here are all strangers. I kind of feel alone
Roti: you have a husband, father and mother- in-law now. Which means you are no longer alone
Rere: but sti….
Roti: I am going to go (he turns to leave)
Rere: Roti (he turns back to her) be discreet, we can’t let Bashorun know what we are doing
Roti: I know that (he leaves. Rere turns and bump into Arin) I am sorry
Arin: it is fine Rere
Rere: (looking surprise) you know me?
Arin: yes, my name is Arinola Bamidele (stretch out her hand)
Rere: (smiling as she shakes her) oh my God, you are Alex ‘s best friend. He told me a lot about
Arin: he told me a lot about you too, so did Pamela
Rere: you are friends with the reporter too
Arin: yes and she told me everything Alex did not, like the kind of things you do to get your work done
Rere: (chuckles) I see a threat coming
Arin: (her smile fades as she moves closer to Rere) if you hurt my friend, I will cut out your heart and feed it to you
Alex: what is happening here? (The two look up and see Alex)
Rere: nothing (smiling) she was telling me about your days at Stanford
Arin: (smiles) yes, I told her that you were an introvert
Alex: common am not
Arin: you were
Rere: I think I will let you guys catch up
Alex: where are you going? You should stay, I want you guys to be friends
Arin: we can always be friends
Rere: she is right about that
Alex: guys…
Nate: Rere (The President walks towards them)
Rere: yes
Nate: I want you to meet some people (turns to Alex) I hope you don’t mind me borrowing your wife for some minutes
Rere: no he does not mind, you guys should catch up and I will see you later (she leaves with the President)

Hello everybody, I hope we are good? It feels like we are watching a movie right?? Movies like The Last Ship, 12 Monkey etc except that we are not watching a movie, it is real and more real for people in countries like Italy, China etc. They might be feeling like it is the end of the world but it is not, guys we can beat this.
