INT. ROTI’S OFFICE- MIDNIGHT
(Roti enters the firm at a late hour when the firm is empty and dark. He walks to his office in the darkness and switch on the light as he enters only to find Esosa sitting on his chair and he gets very scared)

Roti: (exclaims) sweet Jesus Esosa, will you warn a man another day

Esosa: (holds the file in her hand) Cash came by in the afternoon and he asked me to give this to you (Roti stretches his hand to collect the file but Esosa withdraws the file) are we investigating one of our own now Roti

Roti: I can explain

Esosa: (in an angry loud voice) what re you explaining? What kind of explanation can you have for investigating Rereloluwa

Roti: she has so many secrets, she is like an endless pit. She is hiding a lot of things, the reason why the president has to win the election is the same reason why she married Alex Ehosa

Esosa: (in a soft low voice) have you met her?

Roti: what are you talking about?

Esosa: you should take your time to study her because she is the saddest person I have ever met. She may close deals, walk into the offices of powerful men and make them sweat blood but deep down, she has a deep hole in her heart that she desperately wants to fill up

Roti: but with what? What does she want to fill that hole with and how did she get the hole. That is all I want to know, she is my friend (talking with frustration)

Esosa: that is what you are going to have wait for her to tell you at her own time and pace. You investigating her is only going to widen the rift between you guys

Esosa: (she stands up) none of this happened (she walks out of the office. She walks to her desk and tries to tear the file in her hand but she stops and keep the document in her drawer and locks it
