(Roti sits in his office brooding as Esosa comes in)
Esosa: what did she say?
Roti: she said she wants to kill the president for killing her father
Esosa: (shocked) The President killed her
father? Why? And if it is true, why help him with his election?
Roti: that is the question that is eating me up but am going to have to ask another day
Esosa: she didn’t tell you
Roti: I could not ask her
Esosa: why?
Roti: you should see her, she was shaken. Have never seen Rere that way before
Esosa; I think the interview has to do with that
Roti: the interview?
Esosa: she was acting weird doing the interview and she said something about the president pinning everything on her father
Roti: The President and Oluremi Agbaje were best friends, am sure that whatever went sour between them has to do with the last case Agbaje took. So find out everything you can about the case
Esosa: okay (she moves to leave and then she turns back to Roti) if this turns out to be a revenge case, what will you do?
Roti: what do you mean?
Esosa: I mean we work for The President, are you going to tell The President or you will help Rere kill him
Roti: honestly, I don’t know but what I do know is that, she used me, she used you and everyone in this office to get to The President
Esosa: including her husband
Roti: including her husband
Esosa: I will get right on what you ask me to do (she turns and leaves)
