FLASHBACK 1
(Alice and Rere were at Murtiala Mohammed airport, Rere drags Alice luggage behind her)
Rere: (smiling) I guess this is good bye
Alice: no it is not, you and Alex are going to come to New York to say hello to David and I
Rere: I won’t expect that
Alice: you know he loves you right (Rere nods) I can see it in his eyes. Whatever grudge you have in your heart about your father’s death, you need to let it go and start living Rere, you need to live your life in the present and let the past stay where it is supposed to be
FLASHBACK 2
(At the dinner with Ameberu and his wife)
Bomi: (smiling) you know you are lucky to have him (Rere smiles) he is a very good man, it is rare to see someone of his character in today’s world
FLASHBACK 3
(Her conversation with Roti)
Roti: is it worth it Rere?
Rere: what?
Roti: is losing Alex worth standing over Ehosa’s body? Even though I am not exactly the man’s fan but I respect the kind of love he has for you, I cannot love a woman the way he loves you. If I am Alex, the second I knew you killed my child for your job, I would divorce your ass that very instance but instead he came back to you even after he find out that everything was a lie and that you used him to get to his father, not to talk about all the crap you pulled him through before he found out about your secret and yet he kept coming back to you until he could not take it again and am very sure that, even as he lies on his sick bed, he is still hoping that you will come back to him. So tell him, is standing over the father’s body worth losing the son over?
Rere: (tears roll down her eyes) Roti
Roti: Ehosa robbed you of a life with your father, don’t make him rob you of a life with the man that loves you unconditionally (he leaves)
PRESENT TIME
(Suddenly she runs inside her office and carries her bag. She runs out of the office and walks to Roti’s office)
Roti: Rere (look up at her)
Rere: standing over Ehosa’s body is not worth losing Alex for
Roti: so what are you going to do about it?
Rere: I will fix this
Roti: (stand up and walks towards Rere) and I promise you that nemesis will catch up to Ehosa
Rere; good bye (smiling and she walks out of the Roti’s office. She press the button of the elevator of her office and she enters when it open. Her phone rings) hello Mr President (pause) calm down and talk to me (pause) alright I will in your office in 20 minutes (she drops the call)
