INT. ONE BAR IN ABUJA- AFTERNOON

(Rere sits in a bar when the senate president, Nelson Ajibola enters)

Nelson: you must have good reason for asking me to come there Rere

Rere: when has it never been for a good reason?

Nelson: why am I here Rere? (Rere places a recorder on the table and presses a button)

Recorder begins

Rere: what is the case about?

Nate: about the murder of my friend Oluremi Agbaje

Rere: is there anything typing you to the murder? (No response, in a loud voice) Mr President, is there anything tying you to the murder?

Nate: yes I killed him

(Recorder ends)

Nelson: (looking very shocked) he confessed to killing his own friend

Rere: yes he did

Nelson: why will he say that to you?

Rere: because he wants me to help him throw out the case his son is building against him

Nelson: if this recording is here, you are not helping him. You want to destroy him. Why will you want to do this, after everything you did to get him elected?

Rere: let just say, I can’t stand a murderer

Nelson: what do you want me to do here Rere?

Rere: I want you to do what you do

Nelson: except that the Senate is in recess

Rere: and I know that for something like this, you can bring the Senate back into session

Nelson: why will I do that?

Rere: when Ehosa is impeached, Diekola becomes the President and you can be the Vice President

Nelson: (looking impressed) Vice President?

Rere: you know I can make it happen. Even though you are the vice president, with the kind of personality you have, am sure you will be ruling this country underneath instead of Diekola. (Nelson is thinking) it is a good deal Senate President, this will be the chance for you to start your preparation to be the real President. I will help you with that

Nelson: I thought you will be helping Ameberu next

Rere: when has a deal in politics ever stand?

Nelson: alright, you have a deal. I am going to need this recorder (he picks the recorder and leaves)

Rere: (her phone rings) hello Alex (smiling and she pause) am on my way
